I Have a Podcast Now?! Presenting Rhapsody In Reverie

Hi there, long time no see!

If you do not follow me elsewhere online, you've probably wondered where I've been the last 4 months. Never fear, I'm still here. The truth is I've been working hard on another project which you have probably guessed by the title. Yes, my best friend Katarina and I have been hard at work on a weekly music podcast called Rhapsody in Reverie! How exciting is that?!

Starting a podcast had been on my mind for years and I would always push aside the thought for a whole number of reasons. I was too busy with school or work, I already had a blog. However, once I finished school in June and found myself with a lot more time, I finally realized that the real reason I hadn't done it was fear. I knew nothing (and kinda still do know nothing) about starting a podcast. The thought of trying to put something out there that ended up being terrible was paralyzing, but in the absence of anything else to distract me, I decided that torturing myself with the idea of making something great was no way to live. So away we went.

And I regret nothing.

So far, Katarina and I have released 7 episodes of Rhapsody in Reverie. Each episode allows me to explore an artist's discography in ways I haven't been able to in my writing. Don't worry though! Despite my 4 months absence, Auditory Adventurer isn't going anywhere. I still need a place for my musical musings and adventures. Stay tuned here for more, because more is coming...
